1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NestSync ("the Service") at nestsync.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NestSync is a family household management platform that helps users organize their home inventory, meal plans, shopping lists, bills, expenses, calendar events, budgets, and savings goals. The Service is available as a free tier and a paid Premium subscription.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@nestsync.org if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

4. Free & Premium Plans

Free Plan

The free plan provides access to basic household management features with limited capacity (up to 50 items per module).

Premium Plan — $6.99/month
  • Unlimited items across all modules
  • AI-powered meal planning
  • Data export (CSV)
  • Advanced analytics and insights
  • Priority support

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Payments & Billing

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc.
  • By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
  • Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and may be updated with 30 days' prior notice.
  • Refund requests should be directed to support@nestsync.org. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our consent
  • Circumvent rate limits or security controls
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by NestSync and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you enter into the Service.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. AI Features Disclaimer

NestSync uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plan suggestions. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" for convenience and should not be relied upon as professional dietary, nutritional, or medical advice. Users with allergies or dietary restrictions should always verify AI suggestions independently.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice when practicable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NestSync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request data export before account deletion by contacting support@nestsync.org.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or an in-Service notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
